MCT indicators are not used in the Schedule Itinerary Builder Report. This report is driven off of user inputs for connecting time. The interline connections are built by the user defined connect windows in the report input and it does not include actual codeshare/JV/interline rules. You could connect to any airline provided you are within the selected connect windows.
Please note that in the airline industry, system “capacity” including connecting itineraries is generally measured using Quality of Service Index (QSI) points. That’s because you can only count true capacity on non-stops. We do offer QSI reports as an add on module to Diio. The QSI reports use real connections based on published MCT rules and we give extra credit to codeshare services.
Observe Restriction Codes and Cabotage restrictions
The Schedule Itinerary Builder also omits flights with "illegal" connections which violate restriction codes or have prohibited cabotage. Results shown are valid connections which can be legally marketed.
