There are two main approaches for searching the fleet of an Operator in Fleets Analyzer. The first approach is to filter by entering the name of the operator using an 'Operator' filter, which is categorised as one of the Companies filter options. This will return the fleet with the chosen operator including any leased aircraft (operating or finance leases), or aircraft leased-in from other operators to provide temporary capacity relief.
Alternatively, a more expansive operator search is sometimes necessary to pick-up aircraft that have been leased-out to other operators and may wish to be considered as a part of the operators total fleet. In this scenario, it would be necessary to use the 'Any Role' filter option. The Any Role filter will search for the company name in a number of the organisation fields (Operator, Manager, Owner, Sub Lessor). So if Airline A had sub-leased one of its aircraft to Airline B, Airline A would be recorded in the Sub Lessor field and therefore included in an Any Role 'operator' search.
