U.S. DOT Form 41 data is used to analyze aircraft and employee productivity, operational performance and other significant operational statistics.
The Form 41 Customizer report is used to display a custom set of the Form 41 accounts of your own choosing. You can include any account from Form 41 Schedules B-1, P-6, P-7, P-10, P-12, P-52, T-1, T-2, and also aggregated T-100 figures. The Form 41 Customizer lets you create two different types of reports: if you select a set of accounts, and choose not to build any ratios, the Form 41 Customizer returns a report which joins all of the selected accounts into one output table. On the other hand, if you select a set of accounts and also choose one or more Ratio Denominators, then the Form 41 Customizer returns the joined account table, but in addition, it returns a table for each Ratio Denominator with a row for each account which was selected divided by that Denominator.
Use the report to see figures for a specific quarter or for a series of consecutive quarters in time series or summed together. Results can be filtered into one or more of the Entity regions or an overall System Total can be shown. If accounts with equipment-specific figures are selected then results can also be focused in on a specific equipment type. Otherwise, results are shown for the total for all aircraft flown.
When using this report, on the Main Inputs screen, please enter one or more carriers in the Airline code(s) field and/or select one of the groupings or carriers for which data is available from the choose airline(s) field. Specify a quarter and year and optionally include the number of quarters of data you wish to have summed together or displayed in time series (Annual or Quarterly). You may also choose whether to focus on a particular Entity, and if you have selected accounts with equipment-specific information, then you may choose one particular equipment type to focus on.
Click the "Choose Accounts to Report" button to go to the "Choose Accounts to Report" screen. On this screen, you select the Form 41 accounts this report will include from the menus on the left. Once an account has been selected, a box for that account will show up in the preview pane on the right. If you wish to remove an account from the report's output, simply click on its box in the preview pane, and the account will be removed. You may not re-order accounts in the preview pane. You must select at least one account on this screen in order to run the report.
If you wish to have the Form 41 Customizer create a report which divides the chosen accounts by other Form 41 accounts, then click the "Build Ratios" button to go to the "Build Ratios" screen. On this screen, you can choose up to 5 Ratio Denominator fields from the menus on the left and the report will return a Ratio Table for each chosen Denominator. Click on any field in the preview box to remove that field from the report's output. You do not have to choose any Ratio Denominators. However, when one or more Ratio Denominators is selected, a separate table is displayed for each Ratio Denominator showing the ratio of each Reported Account divided by that Denominator.
