After an Opt-In invitation is sent, the traveler has a choice to either opt-in or opt-out of messaging or not respond at all. If the traveler does not have a Traveler Profile in Trip Center, it is safe to assume that they have not yet responded to the Opt-In invitation.
The Send Message button shown below allows users to send a short message to the traveler in the Trip view of the Trip Center tool. The traveler must have a Traveler Profile and have opted into messaging for this option to be available.
If they have decided to opt-out of alerting, you will see the alert functionality turned off in their Traveler Profile.

If you want to Opt-out a traveler who has previously opted-in, all you'll have to do is toggle the Activate Alert function in their Traveler Profile and click Save.
Please note: Information on the exact date the the traveler responded to the Opt-In Invitation is currently unavailable.
