Have you ever ran FM Traffic, T-100 or US DOT O&D reports only to find that your results are shown both ways despite selecting "Include Both Directions?" off?
If you leave your origins and destinations blank or have overlapping regions there is a chance you'll see the the phenomena known as “Full-Alpha”. Specifically, because you have overlapping origins and destinations, the report rows will have origins and destinations appear for both directions, regardless of what you selected for directionality.
For example, if a user requests SFO, LAX as Origin and California for the Destination (or leaves Destination blank for that matter), then SFO-LAX and LAX-SFO will be shown as two separate rows, regardless of the "Include Both Directions?" setting.
You can now toggle between Half Alpha, Full Alpha (do not highlight added rows), and Full Alpha (highlight added rows). Just go to account settings and make your selection under Directionality Handling:
Selecting No (Half Alpha) will give you consolidated results like this:
Selecting Yes (Full Alpha) will give you results with the added rows either highlighted or not based on your choice.
Full Alpha (highlight added rows)
Full Alpha (do not highlight added rows)
