Flight Connections report:
The Flight Connections report has two distinct modes. The first mode is activated when "Departures from Hub" is selected for the "Display results for" input. This "Outbound" mode shows details for outbound flights which depart from a given connect airport within a predefined connection window after the specified Hub arrival flight time.
The second mode is activated when "Connections to Hub" is selected for the "Display results for" input. This "Inbound" mode shows details for inbound flights which arrive at a given connect airport within a predefined connection window before the specified Hub departure flight time.
Missed Connections Reports:
The Missed Connections report displays potential connections at a hub airport that were "missed" because the actual connection time is less than the minimum connect time specified.
Circuity:
Both the Flight Connections report and the Missed Connections report feature a Circuity option which effects the number of flights included/excluded from the report's results.
Choose an acceptable level of circuity for filtering out connections displayed in the output table. Higher circuity occurs when the connection point is a greater relative distance away from the straight line connecting the origin with the destination. Note that the circuity limit varies based on the direct mileage between the origin and the destination. The following chart illustrates how the limits are applied for this report.
- Low
Connections will be filtered out and not displayed if they have a reasonably low level of circuity. This is the most restrictive limiting choice. - Medium
Connections will be filtered out and not displayed if they have a medium level of circuity. - High
Connections will be filtered out and not displayed only if they have a higher level of circuity. - Any Amount
No connections will be filtered out. All possible connections will be displayed regardless of their circuity. This is the least restrictive choice.
