Our reports have two different seat datasets that you can choose between: Traditional or Enhanced. The Enhanced dataset reflects the seat counts provided directly by the carrier on a per flight basis, and includes a by-cabin breakout. Unfortunately, not all carriers provide this level of detail. This is where the Traditional dataset is used. The Traditional dataset is a Diio curated value that represents a normalized seat count for that carrier/equipment combo for any given month.
You can toggle between these two datasets via the User>Account Settings page.
You can read more about the seat choices on our Product Enhancement page.

You will also find the Reference>Equipment/Seat Count report useful. This report will show you both the Traditional and Enhanced seats for a carrier for any given month.
If the report shows 0 (zero) for the various cabins, then the carrier does not provide any seat data to us and we fall back to our Traditional dataset.
When we learn about a carrier flying a different seat count than we have in our Traditional dataset, we will make adjustments to better represent that carrier's operations.
If you have a specific carrier(s) in mind that you know differs from our values, please pass us the details and we will research and change as appropriate.
