Fleets Analyzer - Trend allows you to group by a wide selection of date points, including Age. Grouping by Age works, but can return some erroneous rows depending on the selected filters. For example, in the screenshot below there is a row for 0.0 Age (less than 1 year old) with 0 aircraft, and two rows with blank Age, both of which are duplicates of the the 0.0 Age rows. These three rows should be ignored.
You can work around this issue by adding Status filters to the search, noting that Age is only supported for In Service and Storage aircraft. The screenshot below demonstrates the effect of adding Status filters - there are no erroneous rows returned.
Perhaps a better approach to understand age distribution over time is to include the Average Age metric, rather then grouping by Age, as demonstrated below.
