An Issue is created whenever a potential Trip Disruption has been detected by us based on your account configuration. Please check with your Trip Center system administrator to obtain a complete list of your alert settings for your agency or email our Help Desk.
There are several different types of disruption issues you may come across in Trip Center:
Cancellation
Diverted
Invalid Itinerary
Late Arrival
Late Departure
Unknown
Connection Issue
The Resolve By time is determined by the nature of the trip disruption issue and its urgency. Issues with a Resolve By time in the future will be shown in grey standard text with a blue icon issue type. Once the Resolve By time is past, if the issue is still open to be worked the text will change to red bold text with a red icon issue type to indicate the issue requires urgent attention.
Invalid Itinerary and unknown issues are indicated with a question mark icon. Many organizations do not track invalid itineraries or unknown issues, it is possible you will not see any issues with this icon.
Canceled Flight issues are indicated by a X icon. These issues are created when the traveler’s flight has been cancelled by the airline. Canceled flights will typically display as an urgent issue.
Connection issues are indicated by a broken arrow. These issues are created when traveler’s connection time drops below the Minimum Connection Settings set for your organization.
Diverted Flight issues are indicated by a compass icon. These issues are created when traveler’s flight has landed at an airport it was not scheduled to arrive at. Diverted flights will typically display as an urgent issue.
Late Departure Issues are indicated by a clock icon. These issues are created when traveler’s flight departs after its scheduled departure time. Many organizations do not track late departures, it is possible you will not see Late Departure Issues.
