Where do we source the data for IFE (In-Flight Entertainment)?

Cirium collects IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) data from a variety of sources including surveying airlines, using all available PR regarding system selection, OEM feedback, photo evidence, and travel press.

When an aircraft changes operator, then we try our best to ascertain if the system is removed, remains in-situ or new suppler solution installed. Although this is not always possible to get an immediate answer on this and may only be verified on the next survey for the airline that has received the aircraft.

If there is a dedicated IFE wireless streaming device it will get recorded in the IFE fields (IFE Model and IFE OEM). Unfortunately, please note that you cannot filter by type of delivery/installation (wireless streaming vs seat installed).
