Local vs Connecting Passengers by Airport

We recommend using a combination of both the FM Traffic O&D and FM Traffic Segment reports. 
To obtain the % Local connecting passengers, you will need to calculate it using the number of O&D passengers divided by Segment passengers (since Segment pax includes both connecting and local passengers as a total).

1. Run the O&D Summary and Segment reports for the airlines you’d like to study with matching time periods. Because the latter is segment based, the data will include both connecting and local passengers as a total. The O&D summary data is only local.
2. Subtracting the segment passengers by O&D (local) data will give you the best estimate of connecting passenger data.
