Introducing Emissions Data

The Cirium Sky Emissions API provides real-time insights around the CO2 emissions for each scheduled flight in the future so you can support your clients with pre-travel information around emissions to help the traveler reduce their carbon footprint. It can return CO2 emissions predicted at the whole flight level and at the seat-by-cabin level.

At the flight level, you will only see the estimate for the total flight emissions and at seat level, you'll find a breakdown of emissions per seat type and the total flight.

Using forward-looking flight schedules with Cirium’s proprietary emissions data, we bring together the most reliable source of schedules data covering 900+ airlines with accurate emissions estimates which have been validated by major airlines. We cover 99.5% of scheduled passenger flights representing 10 million ASKs and over 5 billion seats annually.

Core features include:

• • Adds CO2 emissions data to a future flight schedule list (by origin-destination pair), providing a number for kg of CO2 for each specific flight, or, for a specific flight requested.
  • Adds CO2 emissions data at the seat-by-cabin level, to a future flight schedule list (by origin-destination pair), or, for a specific flight as requested.
