Aircraft Value Trends is the latest new product in the Cirium Ascend portfolio of aircraft analytics solutions.
Aircraft Value Trends is a configurable analytics tool which enables banks, lessors and non-banking financial institutions to monitor and benchmark aircraft value movements and resilience by aircraft variant through access to historical, current and future values and liquidity metrics.
If you are interested in learning more about Aircraft Value Trends, please contact your Account Manager.
Users with the required subscription can access Aircraft Value Trends directly from https://profiles.cirium.com/valuetrends, or via https://my.cirium.com/flightdeck.
Users of Fleets Analyzer, Values Analyzer or the Cirium Dashboard, who have an Aircraft Value Trends subscription, can access it via the Other Products drop-down menu from the top menu bar.
With Aircraft Values Trends, users select up to five Aircraft Value Subseries, and either a Build Year or Age. They are then presented with two charts; one displaying Value Metrics, and the other, Liquidity Metrics. Both charts present the data by year.
The user can select from the following Values Metrics:
- Half Life Base Value
- Half Life Market Value
- Market Lease rate
- Base Lease Rate
- Market Lease Rate to Market Value
- Market Value to Base Value
And the following Liquidity Metrics:
- Total In Service
- Total In Storage
- Number of Lessors
- Number of Operators
- Percentage in Storage
Definitions of all the above metrics, and a full list of the aircraft covered, together with their baseline engine fit, can be found at https://d1vbw5keesufbh.cloudfront.net/profiles/value-trends-glossary.pdf..
Users can also select the Inflation Rate that will be applied to future Half Life Base Values (the default is 2%). Once the required selections have been made, the underlying data can be quickly downloaded, and the chart images saved.
