The Airline Profiles Fleet Tab incudes the new Ownership data points Unencumbered and Encumbered Owner Operator. Our definitions of each are:
Unencumbered Owner Operator: The airline wholly owns the aircraft, there is no outstanding debt on the aircraft. The airline has the roles of operator and owner in Fleets Analyzer.
Encumbered Owner Operator: The aircraft is “owned” by the airline, but there is outstanding debt on the aircraft. In Fleets Analyzer, these aircraft can be identified by noting that there are entries in the Participants field as an additional column under Aircraft - Details to further separate between Encumbered and Unencumbered Owner Operator.
